Ronald N. Jenkins Memorial Scholarship
Go Back to Filtered List | Search AgainThe purpose of the Ronald Jenkins Memorial Scholarship is to award an annual scholarship to a graduating Findlay High School senior who attended Donnell Middle School and earned a letter in at least one sport during their attendance. Financial need will be a strong factor.
Applicants who demonstrate the following characteristics and qualities, as modeled by Mr. Jenkins, will be considered for this scholarship: citizenship, scholarship, athletic participation, community-church involvement, leadership, moral character, and a desire to further their education.
Other pertinent considerations are:
- The applicant must be a Findlay High School graduating senior who attended Donnell Middle School for a least one full school year.
- The applicant must have earned a letter in at least one sport during their attendance at Donnell Middle School.
- The applicant must demonstrate citizenship, scholarship, athletic participation, community-church involvement, leadership, moral character and a desire to further their education.
- No specific grade point average is set as a selection criterion. The applicant should have attained a level of academic achievement demonstrating likelihood to succeed at the college or university level.
- Financial need will be a very strong factor.
- Students who receive full scholarship support form other organizations or institutions will not be considered for this scholarship.
