Lee and Deb Anderson are Arlington residents. They have four children and twelve grandchildren. Two of their children received scholarships to the University of Findlay to pursue their education and it made a significant impact on their lives. Lee and Deb have established this scholarship as a way to give back and help Arlington students achieve an education like their children were able to do.

Standards for Determining Eligibility

• The applicant must be a graduating senior of Arlington Local High School or a previous Lee and Deb Anderson Family Scholarship awardee, with preference given to a graduating senior.
• The applicant must be a citizen of the United States of America.
• The applicant must be a resident of Hancock County, OH.
• The applicant must have maintained a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 in high school or the most recent grading period.
• The applicant must be pursuing a degree in education, computer science, or business.
• The applicant must plan to attend the University of Findlay.
• The applicant must plan to be a full-time student.
• The applicant must demonstrate participation in church activities.
• Financial need will be considered, but is not the primary consideration.
• Any student who receives a full scholarship that includes all the fees normally payable by policy of The Community Foundation will not qualify for this Scholarship.
