Established 2003 Believing that intergenerational experiences enrich the lives of both the very young and older citizens, John and Patty Luther have chosen to support the Macklin Intergenerational Institute currently located at Birchaven Retirement Village. Patty, a native of Findlay, was involved with her family's business, The Center Street Restaurant. John and Patty are actively involved at St. Andrews Church. John, a retired Marathon Oil employee since 1986, has been involved with many organizations in a financial capacity. He chairs the St. Andrews Foundation, is Treasurer and Board Member of both Eastern Illinois University Foundation and the Macklin Intergenerational Institute. John and Patty have two grown children James D. Luther and Susan M. Pierret.
