M. Margaret Foster Fund for CASA/GAL of Hancock County, Est. December 29, 2005 With a gift from the estate of M. Margaret Foster, a Fund has been established for CASA/GAL of Hancock County, Court Appointed Special Advocates of Children. CASA trains advocates to speak up for the best interests of a child, who has been abused or is facing the loss of his or her family through divorce or custody conflict, in court. CASA advocates are appointed by a judge to discover the best possible outcome for a child's future. It is the goal of each advocate to place every child into a safe, permanent home. M.
