Michael and Midge Foster established this fund to support the Humane Society & SPCA of Hancock County and its programs for the rescue, care and maintenance of cats. They established this fund in honor of Louie, their beloved, beautiful, big black cat who adopted them one cold and snowy day. After several failed attempts to lose him, it was evident that Louie would become a permanent member of their family. Louie brings much joy to Mike and Midge and enjoys people and being outdoors. The Louie experience motivated Mike and Midge to set up this designated fund to support the Humane Society’s work with cats.
