Barbara Hochstettler, Bentley Burr, and Kent Hampton originally established the Hancock Parks Foundation in 1989 to provide financial aid and support to the Hancock Parks district and other qualified organizations within Hancock County. In 1999, the Hancock Parks Foundation established the agency endowment with TCF. In so doing, the Hancock Parks Foundation reduces administrative costs yet still maintains control of annual distributions for specific projects. The Hancock Parks Foundation established this fund to support the Hancock Park District and other qualified organizations, exclusively for parks and other recreational activities within Hancock County.
