Established by an estate gift to the Hancock Park District, this fund will support the planning and development of a continuous Greenway Trail along the Blanchard River in Hancock County. The Greenway Trail will be used for pedestrian and recreational purposes such as walking, jogging and bicycling. It connects parks along the river with neighborhoods, downtown Findlay and other key community locations. It serves as the basis for a pedestrian-bicyclist oriented network of interconnecting trails throughout the community aimed at creating, enhancing and sustaining the health and vitality of Findlay and Hancock County. The Greenway Trail Fund is a spend down fund and may be used as a local match for state dollars.
