Findlay City Schools - Findlay Enrichment Program Inc. Fund

The purpose of the Funds shall be to support Findlay Enrichment Programs, Inc. in actively supporting and encouraging educational enrichment programs for children in Findlay, Ohio, City Schools. These Funds will broaden the number of services offered and students served. Established in 1988, Findlay Enrichment Programs, Inc. is a parent group that works closely with the schools in developing, coordinating, and encouraging a variety of enrichment programs within the schools and the community. Formal gifted programs are established beginning in third grade. Identification of gifted/talented students is state mandated, but services are not required. FEP exists to support the need for further options for the identified students and for students talented, but not identified by state guidelines. The organization has provided support for the following programs: 

  • K-5 Enrichment Clusters
  • Teacher Mini-grants
  • National Family Month activities
  • Camp Discovery
  • Camp READ
  • Academic Coaching
  • Special programs and biennial events
