Established 1999 Since 1934, the City Mission has served as an emergency shelter for those in need by providing lodging, food, clothing, training in self-sufficiency, spiritual guidance, and a social service network to men, women, and children in Hancock County. An anonymous donor who wished to support the City Mission established the fund with a gift of $10,000 along with an endowment fund so others could support future needs. Annual distributions from this fund will support the City Mission's facility and programs providing financial stability.
