The Welcome Table Scholarship

The Welcome Table Scholarship supports students from Millstream Career Center and early­college culinary or hospitality majors who are ready to turn their skills into ventures, leadership and impact. Backed by local supporters who believe in the power of hospitality, this scholarship champions students who see food and service as a path to business ownership, community change and creative expression.

Standards for Determining Eligibility

  • The applicant must be a graduating senior of Millstream Career Center or have graduated from Millstream within two years.
  • The applicant must plan to be a full or part-time student enrolled for their first year at an
    accredited technical, two-year, or four-year institution.
  • The applicant must be pursuing a degree in Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management.
  • There is no minimum GPA for this scholarship.
  • Applicants must have worked at some point during their high school career or be
    currently working.
  • Preference may be given to a student with financial need.
  • Any student who receives a full scholarship that includes all the fees normally payable
    by policy of The Community Foundation will not qualify for this scholarship.
