In memory of Richard Kirk. This scholarship will support Hancock County youth pursuing careers in agriculture and the trades.
Standards for Determining Eligibility
- The applicant must be a graduating senior of a Hancock County, Ohio, high school.
- The applicant must be a citizen of the United States of America.
- The applicant must have maintained a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 in high school.
- The applicant must be pursuing agriculture and/or the trades as a course of study.
- The applicant must plan to attend an accredited technical school or two- or four-year college/university.
- The applicant must plan to be a full-time or part-time student.
- Preference for the applicant to have demonstrated participation in a faith-based community.
- The applicant must have worked at some point during their high school career.
- Financial need will be considered but is not the primary consideration.
- Any student who receives a full scholarship that includes all the fees normally payable by policy of The Community Foundation will not qualify for this Scholarship.
