McComb Rotary Club/Marion Arbogast Scholarship

The McComb Rotary Club/Dr. Marion V. Arbogast Scholarship was established through the estate of Dr. Marion V. Arbogast. Dr. Arbogast resided in the McComb Community for more than fifty years and was quoted saying, “McComb has always been good to me and I wanted to do something good for the community in return.” He did just that by making the McComb Rotary Club and the Community Foundation beneficiaries of his estate. Due to the generosity of Dr. Arbogast and the good works of the McComb Rotary Club, the McComb Community will be able to benefit from the McComb Rotary Club Scholarship and the McComb Rotary Club Donor Advised Fund for years to come.

Standards for Determining Eligibility

• The applicant must be a graduating senior of ­­­­McComb High School.
• The applicant must plan to attend an accredited college, university, or technical school.
• The applicant must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA or above while in high school/the most recently completed grading period.
• The applicant must be able to document their achievements, participation in organizations and volunteer service in the community through their application and written recommendations.
• Financial need is not a requirement.
