Give to this Fund

Matt Copus was active in soccer from the age of five. He was involved in Hancock County Soccer, Findlay Storm traveling team, Van Buren Varsity Soccer, and the Toledo Celtics Premier team. He received two varsity letters in soccer from Van Buren High School and served as a referee for youth soccer. Matt had dreams of playing for the Columbus Crew and also talked about becoming a soccer coach. In memory of Matt and his passion for soccer, this Scholarship Fund was established with proceeds from a golf tournament run by Van Buren soccer alumni. The Matthew R. Copus Scholarship Fund will provide Van Buren soccer players with assistance for college expenses.
