Lincoln Elementary School closed at the conclusion of the 2020-2021 school year after serving Findlay families for more than a century. The Lincoln Elementary School Memorial Scholarship has been established to honor and celebrate this historic school building and the generations of Findlay family members and educators who have been a part of Lincoln’s century-long history. Future generations of students will continue to benefit from Lincoln's legacy as they pursue education beyond high school through the financial support provided by this scholarship.

Standards for Determining Eligibility

• The applicant must plan to be a full-time student enrolled at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or technical school.
• The applicant must be a graduating senior of Findlay High School. At the time this scholarship is created until the class of 2033 the scholarship must be awarded to a student that had attended Lincoln Elementary. After the class of 2033, the scholarship will be awarded to any Findlay High School senior.
• The applicant must have maintained a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA in high school.
• The applicant must be able to demonstrate participation in Community/Volunteer Service.
• Applicant must be a resident of the United States of America.
• Financial need may be a consideration.
• Any student who receives a full scholarship that includes all of the fees normally payable by policy of The Community Foundation will not qualify for this Scholarship.
