Jon A. Schlueter City Scholarship

This scholarship was established through the estate of Jon A. Schlueter at the time of his passing in 2011. Born in Defiance, Ohio in 1941, Jon was a graduate of Metamora High School and Bowling Green State University. Jon was a resident of Findlay, Ohio and the owner/president of Mid State Homes. He enjoyed the Arts, music, traveling, his friends and family gatherings.

Standards for Determining Eligibility

• The applicant must be a graduating senior of Findlay High School.
• The applicant must plan to be a full or part-time student enrolled at an accredited two or four-year undergraduate college, university or technical school.
• The applicant must have maintained a 2.5 GPA or above over four years of high school.
• Applicant must be a citizen of the United States of America.
• Financial need is a consideration.
• Students who receive full tuition scholarship support from other organizations or institutions will not be eligible for this scholarship.
