John Noble Hockey Scholarship

The purpose of the John Noble Hockey Scholarship is to award a scholarship to a graduating Findlay High School senior who played hockey, received a varsity athletic letter, maintained a minimum grade point average of 2.5, and demonstrated leadership ability and good moral character. This scholarship may be renewed for three years if criterion is met.

Standards for Determining Eligibility of Students

• Applicant must be a Findlay High School graduating senior.
• Applicant must have played hockey and received a varsity letter in that sport.
• Applicant should have demonstrated leadership ability and good moral character.
• Applicant must have earned a minimum 2.5 GPA.
• Applicants receiving full scholarship support from other organizations or institutions will not be considered for this scholarship.

Renewal Guidelines

This scholarship may be renewed for three (3) consecutive years provided funds are available:

• Recipient must re-apply each year.
• Recipient has been and will continue to be a full-time student.
• Recipient must maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA while at college.
• Recipient demonstrates to the satisfaction of Scholarship Selection Committee normal progress toward the degree program of recipient’s choice.
• Recipient has not withdrawn or been expelled (however, personal tragedy may be considered as an exception).
