James L. Child Jr. Scholarship

In 1992 the family of James L. Child Jr. established this scholarship to honor his memory. This scholarship is dedicated to a student who has excelled in science and math, and wishes to pursue studies in engineering at an accredited college or university.

Eligibility

• The applicant must be a Findlay High School graduating senior who will pursue a degree in engineering.
• The applicant must be an outstanding math and science student.
• The applicant must have demonstrated an innovative and creative mind through their participation in math and science.
• The applicant must have a high GPA that ensures success in an engineering course of study.
• Financial need is a consideration.
• Students who receive full scholarship support form other organizations or institutions will not be considered for this scholarship.
