Give to this Fund

Herb and Jeanette Wannemacher were well known in the Ottoville area. Herb grew up on a family farm in Cloverdale. He drove a school bus for Ottoville Local Schools. Jeanette managed the Ottoville School cafeteria for 26 years and was active in the St. Barbara Catholic Church in Cloverdale.

They had seven children: Jim, Edith, Linda, Gary, Gene, Ann, Ellen. Both Herb and Jeanette graduated high school, a rarity in the 1930s. Herb and Jeanette encouraged each of their children to pursue higher education and worked hard to provide those opportunities.

Edith created this fund in her parents’ memory and to honor her scholar-athlete siblings. This scholarship will support a male and female student of Ottoville High School who is involved in sports, including team trainers, managers and cheerleaders.
