This scholarship was established by the Hancock County Medical Society to support a local student pursuing a career in medicine.

Standards for Determining Eligibility

• The applicant must be a graduate of a Hancock County, Ohio high school.
• The applicant must be a medical student in the immediate academic year.
• The applicant must be a citizen of the United States of America.
• The applicant parent/guardian must have a permanent home address in Hancock County, Ohio.
• Any student who receives a full scholarship that includes all the fees normally payable by policy of The Community Foundation will not qualify for this scholarship.
