The Gregory James Shrader Memorial Scholarship was established in June 2011 by his parents, Jeff and Elsa Shrader, and his brother Jon. They established this fund to honor and remember Greg, and to encourage young men and women, who swim for Findlay High School, in the pursuit of their educational goals.

During high school, Greg learned the value of hard work and discipline, developing from a novice into an accomplished competitive swimmer. During his senior year, Greg served as Captain of the Findlay High School Boys Swim Team, where he led the team with kindness, respect and good humor. The Shrader family established this scholarship for a Findlay High School swimmer because of Greg’s love for the sport and his teammates.
