Gene and Margie White Scholarship

This scholarship, established in 2011 by Gene and Margie White is open to students planning to attend regional campuses as well as the main campus of The Ohio State University. Both Gene and Margie were graduates from The Ohio State University and are excited to be able show their appreciation for the fine community we have by assisting young adults with their education.

Standard for Determining Eligibility of Students

• The applicant must be a high school graduate from a state charted school located in Hancock County.
• The applicant must be a full-time student attending The Ohio State University
• The applicant must have demonstrated good attendance while attending high school.
• The applicant much show good moral character.
• The applicant must have maintained a 3.5 GPA or above.
• The applicant must be a citizen of the United States of America.
• Financial need is a requirement
• Students who receive full scholarship support form other organizations or institutions will not be considered for this scholarship.
