Findlay High School Social Studies Teacher Memorial Scholarship

Charles Robert Clapper was a longtime social studies teacher in the Findlay City School system beginning in 1952.
Sheila Lewis, was a social studies teacher at Findlay High School from 1971 until 1988.
Mary Ellen Poff taught five American History classes at Findlay High School from 1960 until 1968.
Standards for Determining Eligibility of Students
- The applicant must be a graduating senior of Findlay High School.
- The applicant must plan to be a full-time student enrolled for their freshman year at an accredited college or university
- The applicant must have excelled in social studies and plan to pursue a major in some area of social studies including, but not limited to pre-law, economics, psychology, political science or international relations.
- Applicant must be a citizen of the United States of America.
- No specific grade point average is required as a selection criterion. The applicant must have a GPA that ensures success in a college or university
- Financial need is a requirement.
- Students who receive full tuition scholarship support from other organizations or institutions will not be considered for this scholarship.
