Established 2023

Elise Billmaier was a 2017 graduate of Findlay High School. She went on to Bowling Green State University to earn a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts in 2022. She was a talented artisan and made the world a better place with her creativity, smile and artistic abilities.

Elise loved playing softball and volleyball, watching the Detroit Lions, going to concerts, and making and listening to music, especially Harry Styles. She was named Findlay High School's 2017 Artist of the Year and received BGSU's Bowen Thompson Student Union Purchase Award in 2020. She listed illustration, 3-D modeling, digital painting, traditional painting, ceramics and glass as her favorite mediums.

Elise worked at the Findlay YMCA, Wolfie's and was an art history tutor at BGSU. Her hope was to become an art therapist to help people "use art as a natural coping mechanism to deal with this thing called life."

Elise's family and friends established this scholarship in her memory.
