Established 2023

The David C. Rinebolt Memorial Scholarship was created by Ohio Partners for Affordable Energy in memory of their first Director, David C. Rinebolt. David found his true calling at OPAE as an advocate for underserved and low-income Ohioans. He worked tirelessly statewide to run weatherization and energy assistance programs and was relentless in engaging large utilities and the legislature to support programs to ensure the underserved were not forgotten.

Beyond work, Dave was involved in music and performing his entire life. He also served on the ADAMHS board in Hancock County and was a strong advocate for mental health services.

David was known for his tag line, “Be Good to One Another.”
