In 2014, Cooper Tire & Rubber Company celebrated 100 years in the tire business. To mark this major milestone and establish an enduring legacy, the company has established the Cooper Tire & Rubber Company Centennial Scholarship to benefit the children of Cooper U.S. employees.

Standards for Determining Eligibility

• The applicant must be a graduating high school senior and the child, either biological, adopted, step or via guardianship of a legacy Cooper Tire & Rubber Employee. An employee is identified as a U.S. citizen who was a full-time employee at a legacy Cooper Tire & Rubber Company location and is a current employee of Cooper/Goodyear. Cooper Tire & Rubber Company legacy locations are those under the Cooper name on or before June 7, 2021.
• The applicant must plan to be a full time student enrolled for his or her first year at an accredited two or four year college, university or technical school.
• The applicant must have maintained a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA in high school.
• Preference will be given to students pursuing a career in manufacturing.
• Applicant must be a resident of the United States of America.
• Students who receive full scholarship support from other organizations or institutions will not be considered for this scholarship.
