Established by her family, this scholarship honors a woman who was passionate about life. April Rodeheffer Burbach lived with her husband, Michael P. Burbach, in Cleveland where she worked as a pharmacy systems specialist for B/Braun Inc. She was named employee of the year in 2003. She served her community as an assistant soccer coach for St. Augustine Academy in Lakewood, and as an assistant travel league coach. April enjoyed taking photographs, painting scenes in nature and spending time with family and friends. She was a 1991 graduate of Findlay High School and a 1996 graduate of The Ohio State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nutrition and human ecology.

Eligibility

  • The applicant must be a Findlay High School graduating senior who will pursue a four year degree at an accredited college or university as a full time student.
  • The applicant must have participated in soccer as a varsity sport in high school.
  • The applicant must have maintained at least a 3.0 grade point average.
  • The applicant must have participated in Community/Volunteer Service.
  • Financial need is not a consideration.
  • Students who receive full scholarship support from other organizations or institutions will not be considered for this scholarship.
