New Members Join Foundation Board and Committees

The Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation is pleased to welcome one new board member and two new committee members beginning in 2026. Joining the board is Jeff Shrader and joining the committees are Karen Beard and Jennifer Illiff.
“Adding these three community leaders to our roster of dedicated volunteers will position the Foundation for continued success for many years,” said Kelly Shroll, Foundation Board Chair. “Jeff, Karen and Jennifer bring distinctly beneficial talents to our team, all of which will help us achieve our mission of improving the quality of life for all in the community.”
Jeff recently retired from Farmers & Merchants State Bank after a 40-year career in business and finance. In addition to his work, Jeff has volunteered with several local organizations, including Findlay City Schools board, Blanchard Valley Health System board, Open Arms, Findlay YMCA, United Way of Hancock County, and more. Jeff was born and raised in Findlay and resides here with his wife, Elsa. In his spare time, he enjoys golf and travel.
Other members of the Foundation Board of Trustees include Kelly Shroll, Chairperson; Rod Walton, Vice Chair; Beverly Dowling, Treasurer; Alissa Preston, Secretary; Bill Conlisk; Frank Cosiano; Ginger Jones; Patty Lucas; Ed Reading; Christina Rodriguez; and Chris Ward.
Additionally, the Foundation welcomes new committee members. Karen Beard, retired VP of Vizient, joins the grants committee. Jennifer Iliff, owner of 3X Marketing, joins the donor engagement committee.
“Our community is at its best when we work together, including having volunteer board and committee members that represent many aspects of our community,” said Brian Treece, Foundation President & CEO. “The addition of Jeff, Karen and Jen will help us work toward our long-term vision of a lasting impact in the community. We are looking forward to everything the three of them have to offer the Foundation and the community at large.
