Request for Proposals: Safety

June 12, 2018

Through the 2017 Community Conversations process, safety was identified as one of the themes of concern. As part of our strategy to address these concerns, The Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation is seeking proposals focusing on safety as part of a special grantmaking process.

Groups working on various aspects of safety in Hancock County are invited to complete a short application for their project(s). Projects should focus on significant local undertakings and fall within the Foundation’s Guidelines for Grantseekers.

Key Points of Consideration

Special attention will be given to innovative approaches that focus on broad community benefit, impact diverse populations, involve collaborative partnerships and/or significant engagement/outreach, and are able to make a measurable impact. A pool of $50,000 is available, and preference will be given to new endeavors that will show potential to be sustained past Foundation grant funding.

Application

To obtain an application for this grantmaking cycle and for any questions or technical assistance needed in the application process, please contact Program Director Brian Treece at (419) 425-1100. Applications are due August 3, 2018. Grants will be awarded in October.
