Handbags That Help Letter of Intent Deadline

The Community Foundation’s women’s giving circle Handbags That Help has announced that letters of intent for the 2017-2018 grant cycle are due Friday, August 25 by 4 p.m.

The focus for grant applications is building strong families. All potential grant applicants are required to submit a letter of intent. Letters of intent are due Friday, August 25 with the full proposal being due Wednesday, November 17. The amount available to grant will be announced after the September meeting. Handbags That Help (HTH) is a women’s giving circle committed to dramatically improving lives throughout Hancock County by collectively funding significant grants to charitable projects and programs. Every membership dollar donated by HTH Giving Circle members is passed directly on to the community through grants voted on by the members.

Handbags That Help was formed in 2007 by a group of women committed to dramatically improving lives throughout the Greater Hancock County community by collectively funding significant grants to charitable projects. In nine years, Handbags That Help has granted $410,920 to support 21 local nonprofit organizations.
