Giving Circle Awards $39,000 to Three Area Nonprofits

The Handbags That Help women’s giving circle awarded grants totaling $39,000 to three local nonprofits, bringing its total in 14 years to more than $580,000.

Findlay Hope House - $24,000
Hope House was granted $24,000 to support approximately 10 families in the eviction prevention program.
Habitat for Humanity of Findlay/Hancock County - $5,000
Habitat was granted $5,000 to support a homeowners education series, including Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University and DIY workshops, for approximately 50 families.
Welcome to a New Life - $10,000
New Life was granted $10,000 as seed funding for a revolving loan program for their program mentees.

Handbags That Help has granted $580,595 in 13 grant cycles to support 29 local nonprofit organizations. Handbags That Help is a women’s giving circle made up of 149 women from the community. HTH is supported by The Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation.
