In cooperation with Governor DeWine’s orders, The Community Foundation and United Way have agreed to postpone any Community Conversations currently scheduled.
“The safety and health of Hancock County residents is our first priority,” said Brian Treece, Program Director at The Community Foundation. “The best course of action at this time is to limit gatherings, including Community Conversations.”
When appropriate, we will revisit the project to decide how to proceed. This may include rescheduling as currently planned, using electronic surveys, or a combination of alternate methods. We will be in touch with more details on a plan moving forward. We appreciate your patience and flexibility as we make these changes.
“We want to honor our commitment to hear from the community,” said Heather Heilman, Community Impact Director at United Way. “It is still important to both organizations and will resume when it is determined safe to do so.”
