The Loft Youth Center is a program of Focus Recovery & Wellness Community for youth ages 10-17 who have experienced oppression, adversity and/or trauma-related problems. Its programming is built on 4 important principles: home, health, community and purpose. The Loft connects youth to health and wellness resources; support for academic, vocational and avocational futures; and a place to practice the social skills vital to making friends and building community.

The Loft engages youth in prosocial activities, youth peer support, mentorship opportunities, and early intervention services, which reduces their likelihood of participating in risky behaviors like:

• drug and alcohol use
• unsafe sexual behavior
• unsafe social media use
• fighting
• dangerous driving
• self-harm
• minor delinquency

This fund will maintain the Loft into the future for its important youth services. By investing locally in their lives, you play a part in growing resilient and healthy young people who will make good neighbors and purposeful, productive adults.
