In Memory of Cheryl Kazmaier McNish

Established 2025

Cheryl Kazmaier McNish was raised with her two sisters, Dolly and Wanda, on an Ohio farm in Wood County. Cheryl had a passion and love for young children, and after completing undergraduate and graduate degrees at Bowling Green State University, Cheryl would go on to teach in schools in the communities of Grand Rapids, Holgate, Bellevue, Findlay and Van Buren, as well as working with children as the gifted coordinator for Seneca and Wood counties. Her career in education spanned over 30 years. Cheryl was a warm, caring wife, mother, grandmother, and dedicated educator who touched the lives of hundreds of children.

The St. Andrew's United Methodist Church United Women in Faith Fund was established by the Findlay St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church United Women in Faith through a bequest from Cheryl's estate. This fund will support students by providing for their basic human needs through Hancock County schools.
