Established 2026

Northwest Ohio Railroad Preservation (NWORRP) was established in 1998 as an all-volunteer nonprofit organization for the preservation, promotion and education of railroad history in Northwest Ohio.

NWORRP is home to model-size, quarter-scale, and full-size trains, catering to a diverse range of interests. NWORRP believes each aspect communicates the importance of railroads to our national and local history, and combining these interests allows a better understanding of the positive impact railroads have on our everyday lives.

This fund will support Northwest Ohio Railroad Preservation, where they offer quarter-scale train rides, a gift shop, a museum, a Lionel layout, an HO layout and a N scale layout. The full-size rolling stock includes a caboose, a box car, and a small diesel switch engine on display, plus a relocated railroad depot.
