Established 2015 The Oxley family has long been a friend of the Foundation and the Hancock County area. Hailing from Findlay, Mike was State Representative from 1973-82 and U.S. Representative for the Fourth Congressional District of Ohio from 1982-2007. Pat, a former Board member of the Findlay YMCA, has been involved in numerous philanthropic activities both in Hancock County and the Washington, D.C. area. This fund was established prior to Mike's passing to be used to meet the immediate needs of the community. The Oxleys made the gift that established this fund shortly before Mike's death on January 1, 2016. His directive to the Foundation was to use the funds to meet the most important needs of his beloved Findlay and Hancock County.
