John and Pauline lived life to the fullest with many interests. They were passionate about faith, family, history, gardening and nature.
Active and dedicated volunteers in the community, John and Pauline invested time in the First Presbyterian Church, the Historical Society, Habitat for Humanity, the Christian Clearinghouse, the Garden Club, the Antique Club to name a few. They were particularly interested in organizations dealing with history and gardening. They were active members of First Presbyterian Church for more than 50 years.
John retired from Marathon Oil Company and achieved Master Gardener title in his retirement and Pauline worked in later years as a nurse in the Findlay Public Schools. They were proud parents of three, grandparents of nine with three great grandsons.
