On June 25, 2020, Joel David Conner passed away in a drowning accident while on vacation at 8 years old. The family was blessed by a monastery that provides a casket for any minor that passes away in Iowa. This fund, established in Joel's memory, will provide a casket for any minor who passes away in Hancock County, Ohio. Joel was a loving, fun, very active boy who is missed every day by his family. The Conner family hopes this fund will create a legacy in Joel's name.

"This (casket) was such a blessing as it was one less thing we had to think about while planning a funeral," said Brent Conner. "God blessed us with such an amazing family and friends to help in our need and we pray this may help others as well. Please pray about partnering with us in this foundation if your heart leads you to do so. This is just the start as we would love to see this grow to help all families in the state of Ohio like we were blessed in such a hard time as parents."
