The Jim and Nancy Firth Donor Advised Fund was created after Jim's death to honor his legacy of compassion and generosity.

Every morning when they would awaken, they said to each other, "We have a very good life. We need to appreciate every single day." They knew that time is precious and valued every relationship with their families, friends and neighbors.

They met in a tennis class at the Y in 2016 and were married on her birthday at the Hancock Hotel in 2019. This was Jim's first marriage at age 62. Jim's friends said, "Nancy is the best thing that ever happened to Jim." And Nancy's friends would say, "Jim is the best thing that ever happened to Nancy."
