Chris and Mary Beth Hammond Community Service Fund

Chris and Mary Beth Hammond are lifelong Hancock County residents. They created this fund to support community service efforts in Hancock County.

Chris graduated from Van Buren High School and continued his education at Bowling Green State University. After graduation, he worked in auto sales at LaRiche Chevrolet Cadillac and is currently at Coppus Mercedes in Tiffin. Chris has been involved with Morning Exchange, Curtain Raisers and the Elks where he was Past Exalted Ruler three times.

Mary Beth graduated from Findlay High School and continued her education at Northwestern Business College. Mary Beth worked at Uhlman's Department Stores and Fifth Third Bank, where she recently retired from her role as Vice President and Senior Private Banker. She has served on the board for Owens Community College, was founding chair of the Handbags That Help women's giving circle and has been involved with several other organizations including Camp Fire, American Cancer Society, American Red Cross, St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, Findlay Service League, Julie Cole Charity Golf Outing, Susan G. Komen, United Way and Marathon Center for the Performing Arts.

The couple has three daughters: Jennifer Spinosi, Rachael Farley and Emily Wolfe.
