The 1946 Society for the Benefit of Cancer Patient Services

Helping to provide services for cancer patients and their families since 1962, Cancer Patient Services (CPS) has been known as both Hancock County Cancer Society, and Cancer Care Society. This local organization should not be confused with the American Cancer Society. The mission of the organization is to reduce the burden of cancer patients and their families who work or reside in Hancock County by providing them with physical, emotional and financial assistance, as well as education resources. These services will be offered with compassion, confidentially, courtesy and respect. In addition to client services, CPS hosts Camp Hi Hopes for children with cancer or life threatening illnesses and the National Cancer Survivors Day.
