Hancock Federal Credit Union was founded in 1938 by dedicated educators from Findlay City and Hancock County schools with a vision to support their community. That spirit of care and commitment still guides us today. We’re proud to serve our members with trusted financial solutions and exceptional service because we know every member’s story is unique. This scholarship reflects that same commitment, helping HFCU members pursue their dreams through post-secondary education.
Standards for Determining Eligibility
- The intention of the Fund is to award a scholarship to a student member of Hancock Federal Credit Union.
- The applicant must be a graduating senior of a high school located in Hancock County or a home-schooled or online student who resides in Hancock County.
- The applicant must plan to be a full-time student enrolled at an accredited two or four-year college, university or technical school.
- The applicant must have maintained a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA in high school.
- The applicant must be able to demonstrate participation in Community/Volunteer Service.
- Financial need is a primary consideration.
