The Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation is pleased to welcome Morgan Bernal, a new Administrative Coordinator at The Family Center. Bernal joined the team after working in customer service in the banking industry.

Additionally, The Community Foundation promoted Sterling Helms to Director of The Family Center. Sterling joined the team in 2017 as the assistant building manager and was later promoted to building manager. In his new role, Sterling will be responsible for all aspects of operating The Family Center.

“We are thrilled to welcome Morgan to our team, and to see Sterling advance in his leadership,” said Bill Conlisk, Chair of the Hancock Properties Board, which oversees The Family Center. “Morgan and Sterling are the best people to lead The Family Center in its mission to provide a shared, safe facility that promotes collaboration among nonprofit agencies seeking to help those in need in our community.”

The Family Center, located at 1800 N. Blanchard Street in Findlay, is home to 11 nonprofit organizations. It offers them a mission-enhancing workplace at a reasonable rate that is efficient, well-maintained and secure. For visitors, it provides a safe, centrally located place where needs are met, solutions to problems are found, and hope is restored. The Family Center is unique, with only a few hundred similar facilities nationwide.

"We're incredibly excited to welcome Morgan and congratulate Sterling on his well-deserved promotion,” said Brian Treece, President & CEO of The Community Foundation. “Their combined talents and dedication will be invaluable as we continue to grow The Family Center's impact, ensuring it remains a vital hub where our nonprofit partners can thrive, and the people of Hancock County can find the resources they need."
