Eva Kate Cowen Anderson Scholarship

Mrs. Anderson’s sons and daughters-in-law, Craig and Mary Lou Anderson and Jerry and Paula Anderson, established the Eva Kate Cowen Anderson Scholarship in June 2000 as a permanent memorial to their mother.  It is the family’s desire that this scholarship will encourage and aid a graduating student committed to care giving, to enter nursing as exemplified by Eva Kate Cowen Anderson.

Standard for Determining Eligibility of Students

  • This scholarship is to benefit a student who has demonstrated citizenship and wishes to pursue a post-secondary education in nursing. 

  • Student achievements and accomplishments are to be considered primary factors in selection. 

  • The applicant must be a Randolph Central High School graduating senior who will be a full-time freshman at an accredited university or college.

  • The applicant must have maintained a 2.5 GPA or above on a 4.0 GPA or equivalent

  • The applicant must have participated in school and community activities.

  • Students who receive full scholarship support from other organizations or institutions will not be considered for this scholarship.
