TCF Seeking Grant Proposals From Rural Communities

March 29, 2017

In conjunction with its 25th anniversary, The Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation is seeking proposals for a special rural community grantmaking process.

Rural communities in Hancock County, Ohio not participating in Heart & Soul are invited to complete a short application for their project(s). Projects should focus on significant local undertakings and fall within the Foundation’s Guidelines for Grantseekers. Special attention may be given to communities demonstrating collaborative partnerships and/or significant engagement/outreach.

A pool of $25,000 is available. Through this process, it is the hope of the Foundation that communities will engage with us in order to strengthen themselves, ideally positioning themselves for a potential Community Heart & Soul grant in the future.

Key Points of Consideration

Significant impact made on the community, high level of involvement from the community engaging as many community members as possible, and collaboration with other organizations.

Application

To obtain an application for this grantmaking cycle, please contact Program Director Brian Treece at btreece@community-foundation.com or (419) 425-1100. Applications are due May 5, 2017. Grants will be awarded in June.
